In January 2023 I headed over to Fort Lauderdale after shooting a job in Tampa. I wanted to catch the friendly match between #intermiami & #vascodagama a team I had heard all about whilst growing up & their hero’s such as Bellini, Romario, Bebeto & the great Roberto Dinamite. I had also heard about the fans congregating outside the stadia hours before kickoff to throw huge parties with bbq, beers & music. Its called ‘Tailgating’ & is really typical in American sports but was an alien concept to me. So I went along & immersed myself with the Florida Vasco Ultras & had a fantastic time!
