Celebrity Portrait: George and Alex Best
I interviewed/photographed football legend George Best in 2003.
He was promoting the launch of his autobiography 'Blessed' at UP and Down restuarant in Hale, Cheshire.
Our interview centred around his recovery from alcoholism and new love Alex.
I then took a series of portraits with the pair. I shot these on a Nikon F100 film camera using my film of choice back then which was Fuji.
I remember George was like a big kid and I was having a bit of trouble controlling him! I had to 'jokingly' tell him off for repeatedly slapping Alex on the backside between shots!
Afterwards Alex took a shot of me and George (I'm a massive Man Utd fan). 
I was delighted with the results - I wanted a natural feel to the shoot, something I try to accomplish in all my celebrity portraits.
